WW2 British Miniature Medal Group of Five – 1939–45 Star, Africa Star, Burma Star, Defence Medal & War Medal 1939–45
A very attractive Second World War British miniature medal group of five, consisting of:
- The 1939–45 Star
- The Africa Star
- The Burma Star
- The Defence Medal
- The War Medal 1939–45
Mounted together on a single bar with the correct period-style ribbons, this combination reflects the service of a British serviceman who saw active operations in North Africa and later in the Burma/SEAC theatre, alongside qualifying home-service duties and general wartime service. Groups with both the Africa and Burma Stars are always appealing, representing two very different and demanding campaigns within the wider Allied war effort.
Miniature groups such as this were purchased by veterans for mess dress, commemorative events and post-war reunions, and today remain highly collectible as compact representations of a full-size medal entitlement.
A clean and well-presented miniature group, ideal for display or for any collection of WW2 campaign awards.
