To France 13th August 1914

Wounded in Action - 16th Sept 1914 - Gun shot wound left calf

Wounded in Action - 15th October 1915 - Gun shot wound right arm

Discharged May 1916 due to wounds

Re enlisted 6th Bn Durham Light Infantry and AMPC 12th Jan 1940
