By the time of the \u003cb\u003e1921 Census\u003c\/b\u003e, he was living at \u003cb\u003e51 Lampmead Road, Lewisham\u003c\/b\u003e, employed as a \u003cb\u003eSecond Class Writer\u003c\/b\u003e with the \u003cb\u003eAmmunition Components Ordnance Factories at Woolwich\u003c\/b\u003e, part of the Royal Manufacturers of War Material. This placed him firmly within Britain’s critical munitions supply infrastructure during the post–First World War period.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;\"\u003eAt the outbreak of the Second World War, Archibald was recorded in the \u003cb\u003e1939 Register\u003c\/b\u003e as residing in \u003cb\u003eLewisham, London\u003c\/b\u003e, working as a \u003cb\u003eHospital Porter\u003c\/b\u003e, another key occupation on the Home Front. Such roles were vital to maintaining civilian health services during air raids and the sustained pressures of wartime Britain.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;\"\u003eFollowing the war, Archibald Cecil Little later lived in \u003cb\u003eTrumpington, Cambridgeshire\u003c\/b\u003e, at \u003cb\u003e107 Foster Road\u003c\/b\u003e, the address shown on his official medal box of issue. He died in \u003cb\u003e1952\u003c\/b\u003e, aged \u003cb\u003e57\u003c\/b\u003e, and was buried at \u003cb\u003eTrumpington\u003c\/b\u003e on \u003cb\u003e8 October 1952\u003c\/b\u003e.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;\"\u003eHis wartime service, carried out entirely on the \u003cb\u003eHome Front\u003c\/b\u003e, is reflected by the award of the \u003cb\u003eDefence Medal\u003c\/b\u003e, recognising sustained contribution in essential civilian and support roles during the Second World War.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e\u003cb\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;\"\u003ePLEASE NOTE: All research will be sent to the buyer via email.
